when I went to your store on East Maiden Street in Washington Pennsylvania 15301. that they could not use the access card cash cash part of it. all you need to do is do it the same way you would with food stamps and instead of pushing the button for food stamps you would do it as a cash sale so I can bring up the salt bring up the same way this is the gentleman that did it did not know what he was doing nor did he know how to contact a manager or a customer service rep that so that I could do for sale.

Dirty and ran down

New Florence Pa. I wouldn't want my name on this store, Gas pumps always broke, cant pay at the pump, card machine didn't work right in side as well, dark and dirty looking inside , coffee was out , milk and creamer machine was broke. Just very, very poor Management !!!!!!!!

New Florence Pa, Gas pumps never work, have to pay inside, pumps run slow, car reader didn't work in store, store was dark and dirty inside, no coffee made, milk and creamer machine did not work. just a over all poor store, workers fighting about who was working, in need of updates and a manager, I wouldn't want my name on this store, its not a Sheetz !!!

Problem with your lisbon store

i was in your store in lisbon ohio on the 3rd as Leila was getting ready to take over she yelled at the girl (dont remember her name) that was getting ready to leave at 11:45pm. the one that was getting ready to leave was very nice and never said anything as i was there. so i went to the bathroom for her to finish her stuff to leave and Leila said you they didnt have bags or anything and said what do you want from this place. i dont like going to places and hearing someones personal business and then having her degrade your store is just wrong to me. i really hope something gets done about this.

Issue at Hastings PA

I was walking to Uni mart with my 2 kids when a car pulled in with 2 people and I happened to know the people that got out. I said hello and then my kids and I went in to the store.

They followed us in because the female said she had to use the restroom. Once inside the store I went to the lottery machine and put $20 inside and my kids picked out a candy bar. The people I knew (which I was not with before or after the incident at store) were talking to me while I was playing the machine and the gentleman asked me for 2 dollars for a lottery ticket which I gave him the 2 dollars. Meanwhile the other person was in the bathroom and then I cashed out my ticket and turned it in to the cashier.

Well when we walked outside there was a police officer asking who drove the car in parking lot and also said who has the name Londa and he talked to the owners of the car and my kids and I walked home. Then 2 days later I walked in to get a morning coffee and the employee very unprofessionally said in front of a half a dozen other customers "Your not allowed in here". I asked why and she said due to the incident the other night which I figured had to do with the 2 people the cop stopped.

I was very upset that she yelled it were every other customer heard since *** nothing to do with them, u it is a person matter, very very unprofessional. I would like to file a grievance on the employee since she made me very embarrassed.

Store complaint about the way they handled a situation.

I went in about 3am this morning to purchase cigarettes. I got a pack of regular newport short and a pack of newport 100 menthol gold and a beverage and small snack. When i got home i realised i was given the wrong pack of cigarettes. Instead of getting newport 100 menthol gold the manager on duty had given me regulars. I cant amoke the regulars due to the fact they are to strong for me. I went back in around 7:15 am and was told that due to state law they could not exchange them. Keep in mind that the packaging was completely in tact. Upon reading the entire tobacco sales and distrubution law i found no evidence of said law being true. I asked about why would that not be posted and got a couple responses and one snide remark of its the world. On the contrary if your going by the book with laws i should have been asked to present id for purchase which i was not. I regularly go to that store and have never had a problem with staff ever until today. I am upset and discouraged at not only the way i was treated but the lack of a solution to a problem other than oh well or even an apology for have been given the wrong cigarettes. I would like clarification on this law if it even is one as well as something done about the customer service that the sales rep presented.

Yup since the Tylenol scare in the 1980s. Any controlled sale item is exempt from returns the moment it leaves a stores threshold.

Every state has to follow it. Yes it sucks but it is what it is. Look at it from the other side for a moment. What if you had actually chosen to cause harm to someone and injected radiator fluid into the pack?

A few hours later someone else buys it and dies. Not saying YOU would just saying there is a perfectly good reason why. Lots of laws went on the books after the Tylenol scare.

That is just one of them. Google it.

Falsely advertised gasoline prices

I was recently at a UniMart, and there was only one price listed on the large price board. The pump would not come on when I tried to use my card at the pump. Now you must go inside and have them turn the pump on, and tell the guy how much you want. I told him that the card reader is not working as well. The first problem is, if you want to fill the tank, you don't know how much it will take. The second issue came after pumping the gas. I went inside to pay, and I was being charged for more that what the pump said I owed. The employee said that he turned the pump on for "cash price", not realizing I was paying with a card (which was definatley made known when he turned the pump on)! He knew I would be using a card, before he turned the pump on. He said that theres nothing he can do about the pricing at that point. The machine determines and registers the cost, and thats what we pay. I figured out on the receipt that it was about 13 cents more per gallon, than what I should have been charged! He claimed that its only a dime more, but however, he cannot issue any refunds. There was nothing indicating multiple prices in gas, only one price, for one grade of gas. I would consider this false advertising, and if I am correct, there are laws against false advertising! Also remember that the Unimart employee knew, before he turned the pump on, I would be paying with a card!

There is always a difference between CASH and DEBIT/CREDIT prices. Debit and credit are always more expensive then cash.

It’s becaus you really can’t defraud with cash like you can with a card. And PLEASE don’t try and pull that debit is the same as cash because it isn’t. There is no law that states your piece of plastic is the same as money. That was a slogan in the 90s.

Designed so customers would feel comfortable with ACH transactions. Yes it sucks, but that is the way YOU and all your fellow consumers have chosen to do business. With plastic. There are fees NOW for using your debit or credit cards.

Fees generated by all the fraud committed by the very same people using said cards. I always laugh when I see a post like yours. Because what you are saying is that you are so busy you never noticed the price difference until just now. It’s been this way for about 3 years.

See why it’s funny? You are so detached from the real world that when something does get through you are in shock.

I always keep a $20 in my wallet just for fuel purchases. Oh and ANY driver that doesn’t have atleast an idea of roughly how much fuel their vehicle takes is a bonofide *** It’s basic math and if you are trying to say that you are too busy to do math then YOU have a bigger problem then just realizing there is a difference in gas prices depending on HOW you pay.

Horrible customer service

I went to the uni Mart to put gas in my fiance's car for her so she could go to work I swipe my debit card at the pump it would not work so I went inside and prepaid with my debit card it approved it and took $20 from my account I went out tried to pump gas and it would not work I went inside to talk to the cashier to explain to her what happened she tried to void the transaction she ended up voiding a different transaction. I ended up not getting gas and she refused to refund my $20 she told me I had to call Exxon to argue with them I waited till the next morning to talk to the manager she told me I was not getting my money I needed to call Exxon she was very mean about it and very disrespectful wanted nothing to do with helping me after making some phone calls to Exxon and my bank they were able to resolve the problem they also told me that the cashier could have very easily called a number to verify that the transaction was not completed at one point she even yelled at me like it was my fault it was a very bad experience and I will never go to the uni-mart again

Store 266

I have to lodge a complaint about the Uni Mart store located on Warrensville Center Rd. and Fairmount Blvd.

in University Heights, OH. That is store number 266. The woman who manages that now has the most surly and unwelcoming attitude I have ever seen in the 20 years I have been using this store. I stop in there nearly every morning on the way to work.

The manager is usually in the back office sitting. After hearing me enter she will wait some time before saying “I’ll be right there.” I can see her in the back area just sitting. After some time more, she reluctantly gets up and come and goes behind the counter without a word. Her attitude when serving a customer can only be described as much more than merely rude but hostile.

And some months she hired a new employee, a younger heavy-set woman whose attitude is even worse than the manager’s. If you will check the video tape from Oct 9th between 2:30 and 2:45 PM you will see a shining example of her extremely nasty attitude toward customers. She threw my purchase down on the counter disdainfully, she sighed and rolled her eyes because she first handed me the wrong product and was angry when she had to turn “all the way” around and retrieve the right purchase item.

Both of these employees are unfit. But, because a fish stinks from the head down, this rude, surly, hostile behavior is only in following the manager’s own totally unprofessional demeanor, attitude, and behavior.

We came in late last night and we were that we could park here, we were told along with several trucks we would have to 20.00 or be towed away. It was our intention to purchase items from the store etc.The other drivers paid this little guy in a hoodie who didn't identify himself there 20 bucks

today i witnessed an elderly black gentleman, approximately 70 years of age,come into store for ciggarettes. The lady behind counter named LEXIE was extremely rude to him.

he was so flustered by her behavior that he asked for the wrong kind of ciggarettes. he explained that he made a mistake and would like the correct kind and he would be happy to pay any difference... she rudely said he would need to walk outside and ask manager who was outside smoking for refund. he said that would be too much walking for him to do because he was obviously old and shaky.

she was nasty and said that was the only way. the man on the *** of tears just left store with smokes he did not want.

as he was leaving i was in store and heard lexie say "that *** will learn to ask for the right kind next time" i left without purchasing anything. i will never give that racial store my business ever again

Why didn't you complain to the manager as you knew where he was? Or, do a kind deed and buy the guy a pack of smokes and give them to him? You did what "feel good" snowflakes always do---complain after the fact but do nothing of any substance at the time.
